How do I get authorization to approve become.1 Cards?

Would you like to unlock new become.1 Cards for your employees as an administrator? In this article, you will learn how to go through the necessary ID verification and how the management officially confirms your authorization.

🔍 Important requirement beforehand

Make sure you already have administrator rights for the become.1 platform.

  • The test: Do you see the Switch role button at the bottom left of the dashboard? If so, you are already an admin.
  • If not: Please ask your company's main administrator to assign the admin role to you in the user management.

 

🛠 Step-by-step guide

Since this authorization grants you access to the bank account and allows you to issue Mastercard prepaid cards, a brief legal identity check (ID verification) is required.

Part 1: Starting your ID verification

  1. Click on Switch role at the bottom left of the portal to open the admin view.
  2. In the left menu, select the become.1 Card tab.
  3. Expand the first of the three sections to start the process.
  4. Confirm your email address, first and last name, date of birth, and mobile phone number. (Important: Use your actual mobile number, as you will receive confirmation SMS text messages there later).
  5. Click on Create Account.
  6. Have a valid ID document (ID card or passport) ready, make sure you are in a well-lit environment, and click on Start ID Verification.
  7. Follow the steps on the screen until you receive a message stating that the process is complete and you can close the page.

 

Part 2: Approval by the legal representative

Once you have completed your verification, your company's legal representative (usually the person who originally opened the payment account) must officially confirm your authorization:

  1. The legal representative logs into their become.1 admin portal.
  2. They navigate to the become.1 Card tab and click on the Company Admin Authorization sub-item.
  3. They select your name via the checkbox and click on Approve Account.

 

Done! As soon as this click is made, you will have the same rights in the Card section and can immediately start approving new cards for your team on your own.

 

 

💡 Notes, tips & special cases

  • Verification duration: After uploading your data, the regulatory check by our partner bank can take a few hours. Only after this is complete will you appear in the legal representative's profile for approval.
  • Failed check: To avoid delays when photographing your ID, make sure there are no reflections and that all corners of the document are fully visible in the picture.
