💳 Payment & Balance

No Overdraft: The card cannot be used for overdrafts; it is a prepaid-based system.

Payment Decline: If a payment is attempted but the balance is insufficient, the transaction will be cancelled.

Split Payment: It may be possible to split the payment; however, this must be communicated with the cashier and is at the merchant's discretion.

Saving: You can save up the balance on your card over time.

Deactivation: Once the balance is fully used up, the card is automatically deactivated.
- Cash withdrawals are not possible.
- Availability of Balance (Rolling Reserve): The new balance is not always available directly on the 1st of the month. Due to standard banking processes (the so-called "rolling reserve"), there may be a short delay of a few days until the bank releases the security reserves and the amount is finally loaded onto your card.

ZIP Code Link: The card is bound to a specific acceptance area determined by a ZIP code.

Changing the Region: The acceptance area cannot be changed unless the balance is below €1 or no transactions have been made yet.

Mastercard Acceptance: You can pay at any Mastercard acceptance point within the card's designated area.

No Online Shopping: The card cannot be used for online payments or as an online payment method.
📲 Setup & Card Types

Verification: For verification purposes, the card is linked to the user's mobile phone number.

Balance upon Departure: Your balance remains active even after you leave the company.
