How do I submit my internet receipts?
The become.1 Internet module is a component of become.1 Flex. Your employer can provide it to you either individually, in combination with other Flex benefits, or as part of the full version of become.1 Flex. Through this module, your employer provides a virtual internet subsidy, allowing you to have your private internet costs subsidized.

Explanatory video for the Internet module:
What expenses can be reimbursed?
Through the Internet module, you can submit ongoing costs for your private landline internet as well as one-time setup costs.
- Ongoing costs: Base fees for internet access, flat rates, or monthly fees for routers/HomePods.
- Setup costs: One-time fees for installation, activation, or the modem.
IMPORTANT (Not eligible for reimbursement): Mobile phone contracts (cell phone bills), pure TV fees, classic landline telephony (connection/call charges), and late fees are not eligible for reimbursement. Furthermore, receipts can only be reimbursed from the legally designated tax country of the company you work for. A retroactive claim for past months is excluded. One-time costs are only reimbursed once.
How to submit your internet receipt correctly
To set up the receipt once for the entire remaining calendar year, follow these steps:
- Create a complete PDF file of your internet invoice. Always upload the entire invoice, as all details including the full service description (which is usually not visible on the first page) are required.
- Open the become.1 app, navigate to the Internet module, and upload the PDF file.
- Select the reimbursement month(s) and enter the monthly costs. By selecting the upcoming months, the receipt will automatically be generated in the system every month for the rest of the calendar year.
Special case: The invoice is not in your name
The proof of cost must generally be issued to you as the employee. If the invoice runs under your partner's name, you must provide an additional proof of payment (e.g., a standing order, proof of a joint account, or a bank transfer to the actual account holder).
NOTE ON THE SECONDARY PROOF: On this additional proof of payment, your user name, the name of the contract partner, the purpose of payment (Verwendungszweck), and the exact amount must be clearly and visibly legible.
Payout of the subsidy
Please submit your internet receipts by the 3rd day of the following month at the latest so that they can be processed for the billing period. The payout of your internet subsidy will then be issued automatically in the subsequent month along with your salary payment.
