How to Use Filters in User Management
Do you manage a large number of employees and want to quickly find specific people or carry out bulk actions? Here, we show you how to effectively use the filter function in User Management to customize your view in a targeted way.
Solution / Step-by-step instructions:
By default, a basic filter is already preset for you in User Management: The status is set to Active by default, so you only see active employees at first glance.
Follow these steps to add further filters and narrow down your view:
- Open User Management in the left side menu.
- Click the Filter button above the user list.
- In the menu that opens, click the blue text + Add filter.
- Select the criterion you want to filter by from the drop-down menu. The following categories are available:
- Company
- Groups
- Role
- Module
- Once you have selected a category (e.g., "Company"), all available options will be displayed.
- Simply check the boxes for your desired criteria (e.g., "Test 1"). The displayed user list in the background will update automatically right away—you do not need to close the menu first.
- To remove an applied filter, simply click the red trash can icon to the right of the respective filter.
💡 TIP: The filter function is especially useful for bulk actions! For example, filter by a specific company or department, then check the box in the top-left corner of the table header to select all filtered employees at once. This allows you to unlock budgets for them in bulk via the Assign Benefit button or conveniently export the filtered list as a CSV file using the Download button.
